Mort Fertel Book

Mort Fertel Book

I often see questions online like, “What’s the difference between the Mort Fertel Book and his main program the Marriage Fitness Tele-Boot Camp?

There’s a big difference. So I thought I’d write a blog post to explain because I feel bad for people when they buy the book and then are disappointed.

What people refer to as the “Mort Fertel Book” is called Marriage Fitness: 4 Steps to Building & Maintaining Phenomenal Love. And yes, it’s by Mort Fertel (that’s me!). You can buy it on amazon here:

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0974448001/qid=1093804318/sr=1-1/ref=sr_1_1/104-7620163-6339145?v=glance&s=books

BUT, if your marriage is in crisis, don’t buy it. It’s not a “save your marriage” book. It’s not a “stop your divorce” book. And it won’t help if you’re dealing with infidelity.

Marriage Fitness by Mort Fertel, the book I refer to above, is for 2 types of people:

  1. People who want to upgrade their marriage.
  2. People who want to get a sense for who I am, how I communicate, and the quality of my content, before joining the main program, The Marriage Fitness Tele-Boot Camp.

Marriage Fitness, the book, is an introduction to the Marriage Fitness methodology. It outlines the basic principles and practices.

The Marriage Fitness Tele-Boot Camp is much more comprehensive and includes specific instruction about how to save your marriage, stop a divorce, end a separation, rebuild trust, heal serious hurt, as well as extensive instruction on how to deal with infidelity and recover from affairs.

In short, the Marriage Fitness Tele-Boot Camp is for people in serious marital crisis. The Mort Fertel book is not.

The book is included with the Marriage Fitness Tele-Boot Camp. I throw it in, as a gift. I have heard that people refer to it years later, after they’ve succeeded to save their marriage. If you’re having serious marital problems, that’s the way to use the book, down the line. While you’re in crisis, it’s the least important of all the materials included with the Marriage Fitness Tele-Boot Camp.

I hope that answers people questions about the Mort Fertel book. If you have any others, please feel free to be in touch with my office.
