My husband tells his family everything which often makes big problems in our marriage. My name is Karen and I am a guest blogger for Marriage Fitness. My husband and I have been married for eight years and my husband’s family has never been very fond of our relationship. When my in laws hear every detail about our marriage, they often give unsolicited advice which creates major animosity between my husband and me. He also thought that it had to do with the history of my relationship with his family. I thought my request was reasonable but I didn’t want to insult him so I didn’t mention it again.
Because I was always concerned of my husband repeating everything to his family, I began keeping things from him.
