Mary Ann Van Buskirk, M.A., M.DIV., LPC, and LMFT

For over 20 years, Mary Ann has been a saving grace for couples and individuals in marital crisis. She has a unique ability to integrate spirituality and psychotherapy with an eye toward practical objectives and forward progress.

Mary Ann specializes in working with individuals whose spouse refuses to get help. For years Mary Ann has succeeded to design unique pathways for relationship development against the most difficult odds. 

Mary Ann is a licensed Professional Counselor, a licensed Marriage & Family therapist, a Fellow of the American Association of Pastoral Counselors, a Clinical Member of the American Association of Marriage & Family Therapists, a Diplomat of the College of Pastoral Supervision & Psychotherapy, a Certified Sports Counselor (positive coaching), a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors, and the former Director of Marriage & Family Life in the Archdiocese of Denver. And believe it or not, all those credentials come with a warmth and humbleness that endears everyone she counsels.

Mimi Azoubel Daniel, MS, PCC is a Certified Life Coach specializing in marriage turn-arounds. Profiled in Style Magazine and The Wall Street Journal, Mimi empowers individuals and couples with immediate results-proven turnaround tools.

Mimi received her Bachelors Degree from Dickinson College and also holds a Masters of Science from Johns Hopkins University where she became an Adjunct Professor for the School of Continuing Studies. Mimi received her coaching training through the Institute for Professional Empowerment Coaching (IPEC) in New Jersey and is certified as a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) through the International Coach Federation (ICF), the governing body of all coaches.

Q: Are these experts trained in the Marriage Fitness approach?

A: Yes. All the experts are able to utilize the Marriage Fitness strategies pioneered by Mort Fertel.

Q: What types of appointments are available? Do I have to go to their office?

A: Each expert does mostly phone sessions with the Marriage Fitness community, but they're also available for office visits if you happen to live nearby. They're also available for full day “house calls.”

Q: What exactly do you mean by a "phone session" and how does it work?

A: Simple. You schedule an appointment for a mutually convenient time and you do the session over the telephone.

Q: What's a "house call?

A: Each expert makes "house calls," which means that they travel to your location and lead you and your spouse through a full day intensive private seminar experience.

Q: What about payment?

A: Payment through the Marriage Fitness office is required UPON SCHEDULING. Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express are accepted.

Q: Will my insurance company pay for this?

A: That's up to your insurance company. I'll be happy to provide you with a receipt for all services performed which you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.
